Dr. Georgios Antonoglou graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2011 and has over a decade of experience in clinical practice, research and teaching. He has developed a particular expertise in periodontal and implant treatment, with a focus on complex dental implant rehabilitation.
He has extensive experience in the planning and delivery of implant treatments, combining advanced surgical techniques with digital workflows to achieve predictable, functional and aesthetic results.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Antonoglou teaches at King’s College London, where he provides undergraduate teaching in periodontology. He completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education in 2024.
Dr. Antonoglou has in-depth training in dental intravenous sedation at Guy’s Hospital, London, enabling him to provide safe and effective sedation for dental and implant procedures.
His research has been published in high-impact international journals in Periodontology and Dental Implantology, with over 1,200 citations. His research interests include dental implantology, the use of innovative ceramic materials in implant treatment, and the relationship between periodontal and systemic health. He collaborates internationally on research projects in the field of periodontology and dental implantology with leading academic institutions and research centres.
